Friday 15th March, 10am - 12.15pm
New session added, 1.30pm - 3.45pm
Looking to embrace the joys of Spring? Jenny from Hillside market Garden will be joining us again for a creative seasonal workshop.
Come and join us to learn how to create from scratch a fresh moss and foliage based door wreath. Many of the materials are grown or foraged from their market garden in Gravenhurst. Although a full demonstration will be given you will have freedom to choose from a wide selection of materials to create a design that suits your palette. This could be natural earthy tones or maybe you prefer to welcome more vivid shades of yellow and cream.
Twigs, bark, eggs, nests, carrots, rabbits, hessian, dried materials, raffia, seed heads, grasses, carrots and so much more….
We welcome you to bring foraged twigs, bark with lichen or any natural materials that catch your eye on a walk. Textures create some of the best designs so the more inspiration you can have to select from the more you will enjoy the session.
Our classes are intended to be relaxed and you will be encouraged to go at your own pace throughout. All materials aprons and scissors will be provided but please bring your own secateurs if this is your preferred choice.
