Here at Jordans Mill we run regular events including craft workshops, children’s trails and craft fayres. Take a look at our upcoming events below.
Sunday 20th September, 10am–3pm
As part of Heritage Open Days, we’re opening our historic flour Mill for FREE guided tours.
Discover the Jordan family’s fascinating journey from humble millers to pioneers of the breakfast cereal industry. Watch our original machinery whir into life as our friendly guides demonstrate how grain was milled and share stories from the Mill’s past. A fun and educational experience for all ages!
Children can enjoy our free Children’s Mill Trail, packed with questions, colouring, fun facts and things to spot.
No need to book! Simply turn up and register at the Mill Shop on the day. Places are limited to 15 guests per tour, so please arrive early to secure your preferred time.
Tour times: 10am, 10.30am, 11am, 11.30am, 12noon, 12.30pm, 1pm, 1.30pm, 2pm, 2.30pm & 3pm.
Why not explore our beautiful Mill Gardens, enjoy refreshments at the Riverside Café and browse the Mill Shop while you’re here?
Is your little artist ready for a burst of creativity? Join us for a fun-filled morning of colourful crafts, imagination, and hands-on making. Designed especially for children aged 3–7, but everyone over 3 years old is welcome to join in the fun. With the help of our wonderful volunteers, children attending will create three fun projects.
Date: Saturday 19th September, 17th October, 21st November & 19th December
Time: 10:30 am – 12:00 noon

Join MasterChef Sofia Gallo, of In Cucina Con Sofia for a full-day, hands-on Artisan Sourdough Masterclass here at Jordans Mill. Perfect for beginners and enthusiastic home bakers alike, you'll learn the skills, techniques and science behind creating delicious artisan sourdough from scratch.
Under Sofia's expert guidance, you'll mix, develop and shape your own dough while discovering how to build and maintain a sourdough starter, understand fermentation and choose the right flour for the best results.
Your day includes tea and coffee on arrival, a homemade soup lunch from our Riverside Café served with freshly baked sourdough, and the chance to make homemade granola to take home. You'll also enjoy an exclusive guided tour of our beautifully preserved Victorian flour mill, discovering the heritage behind the flour used to create your bread.
The masterclass includes your own sourdough starter and a kit to support your baking.

It's our final outdoor market of the year before we move indoors for our Christmas fayres. So come along, one last time and support local traders for a day filled with handmade charm and local flavours.
We're delighted to be working with our co-organiser, ‘Love Local Craft & Food Fayre', to bring you this fabulous event, featuring over 40 stalls to explore.
Parking is in the rear car park, however Blue Badge holders may park in the front car park in designated bays.
Love Local Craft & Food Fayres are located in the front car park & throughout the grounds on the first Saturday of the month from March to October.
Christmas Craft & Food Fayre Spectacular Weekends are inside the Ouse and Ivel Rooms and the Riverside Café on 14th & 15th November,
5th & 6th December.

Get ready for a spooky adventure with us this Halloween!
Explore the Meadow and Woodland to find 10 spooky Halloween displays hidden around. From creepy creatures to classic Halloween frights, keep your eyes peeled as you follow the trail.
When you find each one, count how many ‘frights’ you can spot and write the spooky word in the space in your trail sheet.
Along the way, use your 3D glasses to uncover a hidden letter on each poster. Find all ten letters and write them on your trail sheet to uncover the spooky Halloween word!
A fun Halloween activity for children and families to enjoy as you explore the meadow and woodland. Why not dress up for your adventure and make it extra spooky?
Trail sheets: £4.00 per child, including a Halloween prize.
No booking required. Just pick up your trail sheet from the Mill Shop and start exploring!
Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult. The trail takes place outdoors, so suitable footwear and clothing are recommended.
