Darren Harbar will be running another photography workshop here on the 26th June.

Tickets are available by clicking the following link

The day will run from 10am through to 4pm and will include a buffet lunch.

An ideal gift for someone looking to learn more about photography!

The Jordans Mill photography training workshop will include professional tuition from Darren Harbar Photography. Darren will teach you not only how to capture images around the mill, gardens and grounds of Jordans Mill, but also how best to use your camera settings. This is idea for photography enthusiasts who have recently purchased a new DSLR camera, or for anyone who wishes to learn how better to use a camera they already have. The course will cater for a range of difference experience levels, but is best suited to those who wish to learn from the basics.

Course requirements

Each student must ideally own a Digital Single Lens Reflex camera (DSLR) with a removable lens. The training will be centred around DSLR digital cameras and will include technique on how to manually set the camera. Although we welcome clients who do not have DSLR's, we do not recommend these courses for users of film cameras, Compact System Cameras (CSC) or compact cameras (including those with built-in zooms that look like DSLRs), as the technical ability of these products will not be compatible with some of the training.

It is recommended that students have a zoom lens (something like a 28-80mm is ideal). We are happy for you to also bring additional lenses if you have them. We would also recommend that you bring a tripod to make the most from your day, but this is not essential. You will not need a flashgun, but you should make sure you have spare batteries and memory cards for the day.
