We’ve worked hard to ensure that Jordans Mill is accessible for everyone.

We’re proud to be accredited as a Quality Assured Visitor Attraction from Visit England and are suitable for wheelchair users. We have four parking spaces for Blue Badge holders with dropped curb access, and our building is entered by automatic double doors with no steps.

The Mill is laid out over three floors and we have a lift with space for one wheelchair at a time for visitors on the guided tour. For wheelchair visitors taking the self-guided tour, access via the lift is only permitted if the wheelchair visitor is accompanied and if there is a tour guide or steward in the building.

The Riverside Café is fully wheelchair-accessible, as are the Mill Gardens, although the footpaths are of an uneven surface in places.

A hearing loop is available onsite for persons with hearing impairment, and assistance dogs are welcomed. All our staff have received Disability Awareness Training and can assist where required.
