Mrs Jordan has revealed her favourite biscuit recipe in time for the Great British Bake Off’s biscuit week! The recipe is an old favourite and has been made for many years using some of the ingredients from the old Jordans factory shop, which can still be found in the Jordans Mill Shop today.
You can pick up a copy of this recipe and more in the Mill Barn at Jordans Mill.
A local swimmer who was sponsored by Jordans Cereals for many years has achieved a Gold Medal at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Now living in Alabama in the United States, 25-year-old Adam Brown from Gamlingay was supported as a member of the Biggleswade Swimming Club.
Bill Jordan said: “Huge congratulations to Adam for winning a Commonwealth Gold Medal in the Men’s 4x100m Medley Relay. It was a privilege to sponsor him, and all our local athletes at the Biggleswade Swimming Club, and to see Adam develop into the world-class swimmer that he is today is a credit to all involved over the years. We are thrilled for him after sitting on the edge of our seats to watch an exciting final leg from Adam. We’re now looking forward to watching him compete in Rio 2016!”
